Theoretical lectures

In addition to the Puppy Basic Courses, we offer three additional evening lecture series. They are interesting, fun, and theoretically based. They meet less frequently than the organized practical puppy basic lessons. Topics covered include:

• Canine develepment: puppy to adulthood.
• Recognizing canine body language and learning what it means.
• Principles of reinforcement and correction, the do's and don'ts.
• A demonstration of the clicker method will be presented with puppies about 8 weeks of age.

The lessons taught are based on the book "Dog Language from inside", written by Godfried Dols. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, provided they fit with the theme of the lecture.
